Dr. Katina Pollock is an Associate Professor at Western’s Faculty of Education and Director for the Centre for Educational Leadership. Her research focuses on principals’ work and education policy. She recently completed a study titled, The Changing Nature of Principals’ Work (2012-2013) which was funded by the Ontario Principals’ Council.

I situate my work in the intersections of philosophy, educational leadership and educational policy analysis. In my research, I explore issues of teacher learning, professional identities in schools and leadership discourses in education. I am interested in socio-material approaches to educational research, phenomenology and relationality.
Field Officer – Bill Tucker (email@example.com)
An educator with 35 years experience, Bill Tucker is currently employed as a Visiting Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education, Western University. As a former Director of Education for the Thames Valley District School Board, Bill has been widely recognized for his inspirational and transformational leadership style and his ability to build relationships and engage communities.
Research Coordinator – Cameron Hauseman (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Cameron Hauseman brings five years of experience in research and program evaluation to his role at the Centre. During that time, Cameron has been involved in 24 different research and evaluation projects, most of which were in the education sector. Cameron is known for his ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences. His work can be found in both academic and practitioner-focused publications.
Research Assistant – Annette Walker (email@example.com)
Annette has a diverse teaching background. She has worked in several not-for profit organizations that served the interest of students and educators. She holds a Diploma in Education from Moneague College, Jamaica; a Bachelors Degree in Business and Professional Management from Nova Southeastern University, Florida; and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. She is currently a PhD student at the University of Western Ontario in Critical Policy, Equity, and Leadership Studies.
